This is the whole of it. STOIC collects very little, keeps it for a plain reason, and never sells it.
Who we are
STOIC is a wine brand of DiBernardo Ventures LLC, a California company, which is responsible for the personal information described here. “We” below means DiBernardo Ventures LLC.

What we collect, and why
- If you join The Stoa, we keep your email address and a note of where you signed up (the homepage, an event, a link we shared). We use it to write to you about STOIC: when the cellar opens, what we release, and the occasional word from the vineyard. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; use it and we stop, and we delete your address on request.
- If you write to us through the contact form, we keep your name, email, the topic you chose, and your message, so that we can reply. To stop abuse, the form also records the sending address of each message for two hours and then discards it.
- Site analytics. We count page views by day, page, country, and the site that referred you. That is all: no cookies, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, and no record of who you are.
Cookies
The public site sets no cookies. Two small ones exist for our own use: a sign-in cookie for the family’s administration page, and a reader cookie for the working documents we share privately with our winery partner. Neither is set when you simply visit or join.
Who handles it for us
The site runs on Cloudflare, which hosts it and stores the data above. Emails are delivered through Resend. Both act on our instructions under their own privacy terms. We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers, and we never will.
Purchases
When STOIC wine is on sale, orders are taken by McClain Family Cellars, the licensed winery that produces STOIC and the seller of record. Your date of birth, address and card details are given to it at checkout under its own privacy policy. Card details never reach this site or us. We receive what is needed to know the wine reached you: your name, email, and what you ordered.
Age
This site is for adults. You must be 21 or older to join The Stoa or to buy wine. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Your rights
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we extend them to everyone. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that count. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for members of The Stoa, say so in an email.
